I have a solution for the powerplay. I doubt they will ever do it though lol. - TPC
Put Quick in the net for every PP and move Zibby off in favour of Shesty for the one-timer??? |

Can’t shake the feeling that tomorrow’s game will get ugly. Hope they didn’t call up rempe just for Wilson |

5v5 offense has been awesome and 5v5 defense has been average. Tighten it up even a little defensively and the sky’s the limit. Get the pp going? To the moon. - picklerick

I know I am coming off as some big Zibby guy. I just think his average play is overblown. I think he has to be way more aggressive on the forcheck. When Zib is great he is a fly on sh*t to the puck. He got away from that and as we all know he doesnt shoot enough. - he is not taking the onetimer as much- why?

the whole Mika thing is so ungodly annoying
if he was producing right now then people would be complaining he should save it for the playoffs
he's not going anywhere and believe it or not if he wasn't in the lineup the team would miss his presence

I promise you I would not tell him to save it for the playoffs. That’s an absurd thing to say
He’s definitely not going anywhere
He’s slightly above replacement level right now and we all know he has been and needs to be better than that.
His defense is down this season and that’s why it’s standing out even more
Take a xanax

You don’t need to be this grumpy. We’re 6-1-1 and everyone except maybe brukie is happy with that |

do you think I think you’re grumpy about our team
I’m trying to make you realize you’re upset about basically one person but you think it’s a large contingent of people. We’re all happy |

I think if he gets one goal where he comes down the boards and lets one fly like he used to, we would see him shoot a lot more. I am hoping that's the case |

Rempe called back up, Wilson deterrent tomorrow?
Vesey skating in regular jersey. He can return after two more games. |

I don’t disagree with you, it is annoying to be complaining about anything right now. I know I participate, but just brainstorming what could be done to get Mika going. I think the reason for the negativity is the fact that most of us have seen so much regular season success, and are essentially in a cup or bust mind set. That’s a bit unfair, and during the next rebuild we would wish to be in this exact position again. Mika really is the key to beating a team like Florida as long as he’s getting as much opportunity as he currently is. Hope he makes us eat our words. |

He stopped doing that because he scored once on a fake wrister through the 5 hole change up and has done that ever since. But he hasn’t even gotten one of those off this season. I’m currently performing rituals from various cultures to get him back on track |

yeah, despite Pickle's words, everyone actually does have the Cup or bust mindset
but we can't fast forward to the playoffs as much as we would like to, we just need as many points as we can get to get back to that point and hope for better things this time around

Mika is a notoriously slow starter. Even last year he kicked it in somewhat at times and just didn’t score 5 on 5.
This is the bottom line, we lost to Florida because we didn’t have a 3rd line who could make up for the panthers ability to thwart the big guys (top 6). This year as of right now, that appears to be taken care of with Chytils line. They have been dominant at times. If we have a healthy defense that will help matters even more.
But it’s only Zib and Panarin why we lost as we know lol
We get pissed because it’s all we talk about, Zib sucking 5 on 5. Forgive us |

If anyone is unhappy with being 6-1-1 here please let me know. Once this is sorted can we move on and agree to disagree like normal people (Brukie excluded) |

We lost because we couldn’t match up. The third line goes a loooooong way. Obviously top guys playing better helps too. But having that third line makes a huge difference |
