The goaltending solution is coming from within the ranks IMO, eventually. The defence? Yeah, agreed there.

Dobes could become a back up. Fowler, their best prospect in goal, is not in Laval yet.

Reinbacher was supposed to be our best prospect on defense this year in Laval but its a loss year for him which for me was worst than losing Laine in pre camp. Reinbacher is part of the future core of this team

Ghule coming back will help a lot. Also Barron was better than wifi and Mailloux

Monty didn't give his team a chance to win yesterday.

He can do much better, but so can the team in front of him.

I really like Mailloux offensively, but he needs work defensively before he can have a regular role in the NHL.

Pairing him with Xhekaj isn't helping, they're both struggling.

Guhle and Barron can't come back soon enough.

Mailloux and Xhekaj could both use some time in Laval

yep, leave them there all season, teach them well, and maybe they could be our 3rd pairing next season.

This is what we mean about another long season... very up and down moments, good showing followed by bad showing.

Consistency is a key thing they need to bring to the table, and we have yet to see that in the last few years.

I do not mind a good effort in a loss (even a blowout), but that is not what appears to have happened last night (from what I read, did not see the game).

I'm glad we've seen emotions at the end at least, there nothing worst than a blowout and nobody that seem to care, it wasnt the case

I think they will come out strong next game
