yep, they don't have a team to win games 6-5
- fidopro

Whether we like it or not, this team is going nowhere until they fix their porous defense.

It's not entirely the goalies fault, it's the whole team that sucks at it ... they keep running like chicken with their head cut off when we're in our own zone.
We are again amongst the worst teams in the league for goals allowed.

Another very high draft pick next summer if they don't get better ...

Man to man or zone... or hybrid?
- Mashadar

they started the season full zone. I was happy, and I did STFU.
but the last 2-3 games they play hybrid. and they suck at it.

3 guys bunched up down there and no shot up top. Everybody know that it’s going to Caufield
- Fredo

Reminds me of when the only strategy on the powerplay was to send it for Weber to shoot.

And I mean apart for Barron who i hate with a passion, the guys back there have some tools, the passangers are supposed to be in the forwards.. something is just wrong with the way they are playing.. he can’t even blame Xhekaj anymore

the thing is, goalies are going to make mistakes, like every other player on the ice, but teams back them up.

I just feel that current Habs goalies make a few too many mistakes, without having the backup they need to bail them out.

Habs goalies basically need to be perfect to win a game, and the Habs goalies are just not that talented to win games on their own (like Price did).

That is not a sustainable.

I mean Ghule has a shot. Why not try him?
I know he wasn’t playing well but Mailloux has the best shot back there

This team is a mess. Moving backwards defensively and goaltending is as well. Best thing to do is just keep an eye on them and see how Suzuki, Caufield, Slaf & Hutson are doing.
