yeah, personally I don't see that group as having an attitude problem, they aren't lazy or whatever, they're just disorganized too often. the effort is there but it's the execution that's lacking. - Pat1993
They gave up 6+ goals in 5 of their 11 games for Christ sakes ... they better figure it out ASAP.
I think Marty decided that enough is enough ... the cuddling is over.
He's not stupid ... he knows that HuGo's patience will eventually run out and he's the one who's gonna lose his job. |

How quickly people turn...
FFS, we knew this was going to take years to pull this organization out from the 1950s mentality into the new century.
Give them a chance, at least. |

He bit the penis off but left the Dragon Ballz alone. Seems ironic….

quickly?!? it's year #3 !!! you see any improvement in their play?
I don't talk about individual improvement, kids do get better individually.
but as a group, nope. they are disorganized, and that is on the coach. he wants to play his style... it will drive him out of town.
and the gm by not hiring a vet assistant coach is not helping.
they can keep on allowing 6 goals a night, I love drafting early. but that cannot last for ever. |

I get that, and yes it will take another 2 years. but that doesn't mean that we should not see improvements in their collective play.
they don't have to wait for Gally and Anderson to be gone to start playing the right way.
Gally and Anderson btw who are among our best players so far this season. |

Armia Dvorak need to go and the D is young and inexperienced. How often do we see a team with Dmen this young? they might have 1 if he is exceptional but we have to live with 4 of them?
it is painful to watch but hopefully it will be worth it soon.

When I first started watching hockey the Habs would be battling for first in the Adams every year and then they were just trying to stay afloat and hope if we can just get there anything can happen.
Ill put up with a few years of caca if it means that afterwards the Habs can be contenders every year and be less stressful to watch. |

Dvorak plays on the 4th, 10 min per game. if you think he's the cause of the problem....
that being said, yes, I would have waived him this morning |

We dont even have a 2nd line so offence is going to be tough and defence that is still maturing.
Put the 2 together and voila...

that's where the coach needs to find a system that will help his players be successful. he must adapt his coaching to the players he has. you don't coach EDM the same way you coach NYI. or a young team vs an older team.
obviously the current system is not working. we do not see any improvement in their collective play.
so keep on trying the same thing? or change it to make it simplier, easier? |

Can you name me a rebuild that took less than 5 years?
NYR got lucky with Panarin and their ability to attract quality UFAs. Maybe Laine will be our Panarin next year, throw in Demidov and in a year or 2 Hage, already it looks better.
By the time we get the FWDs hopefully the D will be more experienced and it will help the young F |

I agree and there will be games where it looks like we could beat anyone and games where we cant beat MSL's peewee team.
Part of a rebuild, get all the mistakes out now

Like I said, the Habs are overhauling everything - not only on the ice but everything including drafting, training, scouting, development, metrics... etc...
This team was run like they felt they deserved to win, just because of who they were and their cup wins.
HuGo have a massive job to rebuild from the ground up, and unfortunately, most people just look at what is on the ice right now.
I agree, I really like what HuGo are doing and I am willing give them a lot of leeway to get this team into the modern age with a good foundation that can be contenders for a long time.
Tired of the "you never know what can happen if you get into the playoffs" mentality. |
