Just wondering what the time line is for Dak to come back. It was looong by end of this road trip. He didn’t practice yesterday after being a full participant all week. They already lost Forbort for a month on a practice injury.

Is RT being overly cautious with DAK? He said there was no set back. Though why would he need a “maintenance type” day off from practice if he has not played?

Anyway good to see Demko practicing but not holding my breadth on that as he’s been on and off on this since May.

Ok then, I'll mark you down as a "NO" on Lanny.

Sometimes the stars align when it comes to sharing the hate for other garbage teams and their window licking fans.

I think results of the next two games (tonight and Saturday) will be a good gauge on how the rest of the season will evolve. Tonight's match will give us a good idea on how skilled the canucks are against a very good team, and Saturday's game will be about the team's will and desire to win against a division/playoff rival.

The Flames have largely been an irrelevant franchise for the better part of 35 years. Since the 1990/91 season they've only been past the first round three times, even when they went to the Cup finals on the backs of Iginla & Kiprusoff in 2004 they were third in their division, they just got hot at playoff time. Garbage franchise with just awful putrid uniforms!!

Did you happen to read both blogs? Both Bill and Mike made references to taking on multiple functions after both EO and DeGroat left HB reluctantly for personal reasons that remain private, so a conspiracy theorist would say pushed out for creative differences with the boss,

Anyway EK is soliciting bloggers in his new Philly blog.

And a poster in the leafs blog has started a subreddit blog called Hockybuzzed for the eventuality of this place shutting down.

Not looking good, EO and Chris keep the site managed while Bill and Mike ran with daily blogs and podcasts, now all 4 gone within a month. There is like 2-3 mods left, flag posts hasn’t worked in a couple of years, and the quality of blogs from EK has been quite disappointing.

So I do like this place is on life support and I’m sure a DNR (do not resuscitate) could be in place.
