ty, my good friend. i'm home now. today was a lunch. the fam is all heading back to nj and i'll have the fam party whenever that happens. im a twin, so you always get a party. for some reason if you're a twin you get big birthday parties for life.

i discovered a new ipa from one of my favorite local breweries and it was unreal. tonewood mono citra. citra are my favorite hops.

also, had the shrimp scampi with apps of mozzerella meatballs and this huge cornbread thing that turned out to be the size of a bunt cake. i got my brother (we're twins so it's his birthday too, yeah) a big bottle of makers mark. he didn't know we were exchanging gifts so i got nothing!

I wonder what will happen TO THE PLAN if the habs continue to lose game after game and continuous losing streaks?

Would be interesting to see what they implement or change ...

Well, we do need more center depth. Although I have a feeling they'll go defenseman because it's center-heavy this year.

obviousy the plan is to convert the team to ice skating.

what's the point of being 6'3 6'4 220 if you never hit anybody?
Slaf, Dach, Anderson, Armia, Dvorak...... dump the puck, apply pressure and HIT THE DMAN. every (frank)in time you're on the ice. sorry to tell you this but you're no McDavids.
opponent teams dmen must be sooo happy to play Mtl.

I agree. It's soft and I feel like the players are protected too much. And at this point, everyone should be subject to critique and held to a higher standard.

We're kind of the joke of the league right now.

Seattle can't scoree to save their lives.....but thy hung 8 on us..... yikes...

Well the fact that nobody knows how to spell condotta suggests a little bit. Hahah
And yeah....It's definitely a work in progress. And the thing is,is that NOBODY is used to this! A rebuild? So the brakes need to be pumped and it is what it is for this season. Short term pain for long term gain. Instead of NO EXCUSES......it shouold be ...NO SHORTCUTS.....

the habs' rebuild isn't going as well as we would like right now, but I think they're still heading in the right direction despite the current struggles.

if fans in MTL are already starting to be impatient, imagine if it takes time like the never-ending rebuild they're going through in Buffalo, police cars would literally get flipped in front of the Bell center...

I think that Habs fans should really prepare themselves for the worst this season, and anything else will be a bonus. This is going to be a transitional season.

And we have some our faves in Armia and Dvo on the way out.

I'm sure there will be a candlelight vigil on the day of their departure

That's what i was thinking too. I hope they continue with their agenda regardless and push the envelope in the process to become better in all facets.

This team is brutal this year and we NEED more elite prospects in different areas still. It's apperent that we.re not complete. BUt no reason to panic this early. We've seen other teams struggle for yeas before they came to fruition. Colorado anybody??

I gave up on this season at this point, not much fun watching games by myself. Will catch a game from time to time with one of my friend at a bar but thats it.

I'm at the same point my feathered friend. It's been boring or embarrassing. Outside o the Caufield goals. Not much to root for except the future.
