Commesso looked rough. Overall, Lev looked good, but played the second goal a little weak.
To echo others here - Savoie is so much fun to watch. There are no gears to the guy. It's either stop or full go and he creates a lot of havoc in the opponents end and neutral ice. I'd say Nazar is ready now. He gets shots off in dangerous areas, backchecks, forechecks and picks pockets seemingly every shift. - Chunk
As in his game or his body language?

Neither. He's a snappy dresser. |

What could possibly go wrong? - Chunk
I believe Wiz told me a while ago that C Dach could make it to the NHL but nothing special. He does have something with his skating yet not going to hold him back.
It is however detrimental to him as far as to be a better skater |

Fatty was referring to Montreal being the crappy team. - Chunk
Rockford is currently in last place in their division with a 3 - 7 record.
Fatty may have meant Montreal, but that observation fits this year's Rockford team

I heard from a reliable source, a man who can read body language regardless of nationality, that Bedard is slow, has an average shot and is most certainly not elite, now or ever. - paulr
It was just an observation a/k/a an uneducated opinion from someone that is not an expert.
You cannot question someone's observation based narrative. All of the NHL scouts and NHL players that said Bedard has an elite shot.... all wrong. Their observations also wrong. |

Only problem is the Hawks don't have Marcus Kruger anymore to trade for him.
Wonder if the Pens would take Crevier, AA and a 3rd rounder for him.🤔 |

From Bleacher Nation. CHSN app coming Friday and there will be no charge for the rest of the season. Enjoy! I’m out of market so I use ESPN +…
Edit - that’s a fail, that app should have been ready to go at the start of the season. |

My guess is that it was ready to go, but they wanted to try and get a deal made with Comcast before launching it. |

Same and I agree on the "fail" part.
Just sounds like a whiff for a team that's trying to reclaim some relevancy in the Chicago sports market. |

Blackhawks' forward lines in practice. First line changes again, and looks like Martinez will play tomorrow vs SEA:
Kurashev-Bedard-Teravainen
Hall-Foligno-Bertuzzi
Donato-Richardinson-Anderson
Maroon-Reichel-Smith
Martinez-Jones
Vlasic-Murphy
Kaiser-Brodie - LAHawk
Apparently this is slightly off according to Tab at Bleacher Nation:
Connor Bedard — Philipp Kurashev — Teuvo Teräväinen
Taylor Hall — Nick Foligno — Tyler Bertuzzi
Ryan Donato — Jason Richardinson — Joey Anderson
Pat Maroon — Lukas Reichel — Craig Smith
Yeah, that’s Bedard on the wing. Richardson told us before heading to the airport that they’re not only looking for lines that click, but the opponent has some impact on how they line things up. He noted that teams like Dallas, LA and Vancouver are a bit bigger while a team like Detroit or Seattle (tonight) might be more up-and-down.

Spector has a Zegras to Chicago scenario (citing Friedman):
https://bleacherreport.co...hinking-about-immediately
"Friedman suggested the Blackhawks should consider adding some help without derailing their rebuilding plans. Acquiring Zegras from the Ducks could address that need. He's signed through 2025-26 with an average annual value of $5.75 million, which the Blackhawks can afford to take on. Skating with Bedard could help Zegras regain his dazzling offensive style.
The Ducks will set a high price for Zegras, but his declining production could make him more affordable to acquire than he would've been last season. They could also be keen to get his full salary off their books.
The Ducks might ask for young center Frank Nazar, but Chicago could counter with promising winger Lukas Reichel and a few draft picks." |

Spector talking about it too.
Why don't we give Bedard his dream, being on the same line with Sid the Kid? Hall is off the books next year so its only a 2.7 bump. Of course, it wouldn't be worth giving the prospects and picks needed but it would be darn entertaining. |

If you are going to give Bedard a shot at wing, why not put Hall at center. He has played there before.
Bedard, Hall, Donato
TT, Kurashev, Bertuzzi
Foligno, D!ckinson, Anderson
Maroon, Reichel, Smith

Probably because they have evidence that Hall-Foligno-Bertuzzi are productive together and tip all of the metrics into the positive. TT and Bedard are good together. The biggest issue that I see is that Kurashev is not going to be able to win pucks, so there really isn't a guy on that line that will. Ideally, they have enough skill to overcome that, but I'm skeptical. |

You are probably right. So, how many minutes into the game will the board want Allan in for Brodie? This may include myself. |

I don't need any minutes to want Allen (or anyone else) in for Brodie.
