Alright, Crevier draws in for Kaiser who needs a day off Bamford reports. .... Will be good to see how the kid looks in the NHL this yr. Never a bad thing for NHL types to have a look at you.

For those who haven't seen Michkov you're gonna love this guy, assuming the rookie of the month ain't scratched again by Torts.

And the Feditov kid in goal for Philly looks horrid. Looks just like Soderblom did last yr.

Not a fan of those cute soft little drop passes. They gotta be hard on the puck and make some more direct plays.

These first few shifts for Allan in the game here, he is starting look a lot more confident and comfortable than we've seen.

Great job by Reichel and the old goats.

Slowly Reichel is gaining more confidence and playing better. Funny what confidence can do.

When Crevier looked good in the NHL his best game was when he was paired with Vlasic

Crevier needs to play the right way show the right approach how to be effective. It is not so much whether he makes one gaffe but how he looks his approach and playing confidantly

Is Crevier capable? He has played enough pro hockey and he has shown well enough to get this opportunity. Let us see him hopefully a couple more times. Does he perform better, look better than previous stint?

Phillips much the same player this year but Phillips….let us watch him

I'm starting to like the move of playing with with Maroon and Smith on the 4th line because it has gotten him against the weaker defense pairs but Maroon and Smith have hands and can play with a little skill. Much better than having Reichel play with Entwistle or Reese Johnson or similar 4th line guys who don't have the scoring touch to make things happen with him.

Agreed, it puts him in a position to succeed.

There’s all kinds of criticism of Hall but you can see where he just doesn’t have the jump in his first strides. He may not be able to regain his form but he still needs time to get his knee into condition. It’s difficult for a young player to come back from his injury, it’s going to take him longer. I’m curious to see how he is in January or February.

I’m turning into a fan of Allan, Crevier not so much, he doesn’t think the game fast enough.

What the box score isn’t telling you is Bedard hit the post.

Well, the coaches ain't gonna like it but that was a damn fun 1st period for the fan. ....... I',ve seen parts of a lotta PHI games this yr and this was the best offensively they've looked. I'd imagine Torts is gonna tighten them up so it's good the Hawks got that beauty goal outa the 4th line!!

Very nice linking up between Reichel and The Big Rig. Highlight reel stuff.

Allan plays within his skill set. He doesn’t try to do too much or do things he’s not capable of.

Crevier is huge and that’s about all he brings.

The power of that kid's shot. Ripped off the post so heavy it damn near bounced off the goalie and back in. ......... His 8 turnovers sucked though. .... Do you think Torts would be good for Bedard's game? I think it might!!

Kid wants to do the right thing but was never taught to minimize/understand risk and Torts is a master of that. Tough to learn at the NHL level.

Agree, Allan has never looked outa place in the Bigs but that 1st period was the best he's looked this yr. ........ In case folks forget Allan has 1st rd pedigree. Late 1st but 1st none the less. Canada WJC pedigree.

Kid is talented and understands his role. Always has and did so back in jrs.

I hope Allan doesn't get himself in the doghouse here with the penalties. I'm kind of glad to see him getting a bit more aggressive but the coaches might talk to him about discipline. Not that it was so bad, but sucks seeing him back to back trips to the box.

Not much more beautiful in all of sport than watching an NHL goalie so dialed in he's square to even possibilities. ... A pleasure watching Mrazak as a Hawk.

Good to see Reichel with a couple of points, now need Bedard to get going.
