stayed home from work to use up a vac day but there's nothing going on. everybody else is at work!

Slaf was not benched, he played regular shift on the 4th lines, he changed place with Armia, details matter !

Also Matheson on the PP excel in the art of shooting in the shins of the defender in front of him !

meh, his top line minutes were taken away and he was barely playing, so he was on the bench more than he was on the ice for a while during the game, it isn't farfetched to say he was benched lol

Statistically, almost every player is on the bench more than they are on the ice. In fact, it is pretty rare to see otherwise.

how long did it take Caufield to get back into shape..? he wasn't himself for the most part when he came back from his injury last year... benching Dach would accomplish nothing imho.

yeah, it took him a while and even then he wasn't quite 100%, you can tell this year he was ready to go from game 1 this year.
