- 31 SF & 13 SA (70.45 SF)
- 28 SCF & 14 SCA (66.67 SCF)
- 11 HDCF & 4 HDCA (73.33 HDCF)

The person who's gonna step up is currently playing for another team.

I think the coaches need to give a little more weight to the other pairings, at least for now to let Soucy and Myers get some confidence back.

- NewYorkNuck

For sure. Plus, what's being lost here a bit is both Soucy and Myers are pretty good at getting shots through and making plays on offense. Which helps build their confidence, and develop some cohesion with the forwards. They aren't getting that much of a chance with their deployment as is.

Makes sense. No reason to have Lekker playing on the third line right now without that top end talent. Send him back to Abby to get first line reps.

The Canucks didn't want to give him that contract, so they're going to spend assets to give him that contract. Super smrt

No kidding, doesn't Z have a no-trade clause in his contract? I bet you with how the negotiations here went that he'd nix a trade back here even if they did do it... which they won't because yeah, stupid to the max.

It might not have made sense to Vancouver in the off-season, but there may be more value attributed now knowing the gaping hole that he left. Perhaps if Boston is already done with him or moving in another direction we can get for not too much asset. Contract is tricky no doubt with OEL buyout bumping up next year. Hopefully cap goes way up as rumoured.

Personally hate to hear Hogz being the carrot. They literally just signed him, I don't know how he's suddenly not a fit. They were remarkably healthy through most of the reg season which isn't usually the norm, so maybe that has something to do with it. The Garland/Blueger/Joshua line was such a stabilizing force that everything around it seemed to work. Heck we had Di Giuseppe playing on the first line for long stretches. Speaking of, what's up with him? You'd think he'd be in play by now with all the injuries.

What? If he's not working out in Boston it's going to cost them to unload the contract. See Mikheyev, Poolman etc.

wasn’t he one of the people jumping to conclusions, with Patrick Johnston, shift the blame much.

Probably because there is something going on and being injured is an excuse and probably the team warned Dhaliwal to shut up and try and stop all the people speculating about it. The team wouldn't put out a statement like that unless there was something really going on behind the scenes with Miller, see Mark Rypien

Maybe, I’m not one to believe in conspiracy heavy handed tactics.

I agree that there is more to this “injury” and possibly there is a mental health component but Dhaliwal isn’t doing any justice to his reputation with this comment, if he had one before hand.

Well, that goes without saying, he's a podcaster now and doesn't have the benefit of TSN/Sportsnet behind him. I believe he relies on ads to get paid and Sportsnet doesn't give him anything for his show so he has to rely on listeners/viewers on YouTube for his money and so has to be as out there as possible.

One player on a professional team. He's not playing. Who cares why, I certainly don't.

I should clarify, I personally don’t go for the tactics that media and team management use, but I’m sure there must be some collaborative interaction between them.

I have tried to watch Don and Dhali a few times, just find it too disjointed with the sidekick jumping in all the time, Don overbearing, loud hard to follow at times, and Dhaliwal is vacant upstairs, doesn’t seem to put a coherent sentence or thought together. I do like their guest at times.

I only care to the extent of the impact to the team, and it is the media that is driving the conversation/controversy not us.

I hope the best for Miller and the team.
