Watching Debrusk the last few games, seems he has more to give. Thought he would play a more truculent game ... but he's actually pretty passive. |

Let’s be perfectly honest, the whole league is soft, there’s very few heavy physical teams anymore. The Rangers, Kings, Knights and Panthers are probably it. Boston used to be but they’re on a steep decline. |

The Canucks were 4th in the league in hits last year, they are sitting 7th this year. One of their main calling cards last year was how physical they played. Outdated narrative |

If other teams start hitting what's left of their star players they'll fold like a $2 lawn chair.

True to a point. You'd think that in a high stakes series that changes to a degree.

DeBrusk has never been known as a physical, nor consistent player, not sure why some think that would change in Vancouver. |

Well it seems RT is going with a grind game now. He’s got less talent with JTM and Boeser out. That also makes JL unsuccessful to be a top 6 scorer and useless in any other role.
Enter Sasson to fill the tough to play against need. Most likely joining Bains and Raty in deployment. Speaks volumes for how Abby has been keeping a supply line of injury call ups. |

Really solid words here. I think RT will create a fantastic positive environment when BB, JTM, TD DF return. The Grind game was unreal vs NYR actually. Talent level has dropped for sure with those guys out but we need to have faith that RT will stay this course. Any other team in the league JL is top 6 right now for sure kid has a bright future anywhere really.
AB and AR coming from ABBY should fill well in their roles during injury times. One has to wonder when BB TD JTM and DF will return however it sure affects the roster hey? What are your thoughts in that? - LordHumungous

Lots of chatter today about bringing Zadorov back!
The only way I could see it happening is Boston retaining $, then still a longshot.
Go for Marcus Pettersson or reach higher. I do however like what Zadorov brought to the team. |

Higher please. Pettersson doesn't fit what the Canucks need. |

Out Desharnais in Zadorov with Boston taking $. Don't think Allvin likes the term so a longshot at best.

Much higher. You have to move the needle if you expect to get better. Zadorov had a nice run last year but as you see this year, he has regressed to his norm and thats not good at that price. He's a 4/5 and Vancouver needs a true top 2/3/4.
Pay the price...Hoglander/1st/Klimovich/D-Petey....just get a legit top 4 in....

Gotta think the relationship between them is a bit sour as well. Not sure Zadorov would want to come back. I think one of the holdups on signing him was a NTC, but seems like it's not an iron clad NTC as the contract progresses.
If Boston was willing to eat a mil or two... have Zadorov at 3 mil would be a good deal. But I'm highly doubtful that would ever happen |

Unlikely. The fan's in Boston will eat him alive. Maybe there's a reason he's played on several teams. That said they need a good tough younger defenseman to bump the trash down further.
