They have many passengers, just no one to drive.

You can win with drivers and limited passengers and stuck in mediocrity with lots passengers and no driver.

because finding joy in this team bothers so many people

i think we have roster players and draft picks to mold the team into something interesting. michkov looks to be the cornerstone piece. the team will bond after "surviving" Torts.

plenty to like

they are doing exactly what they should be doing - not selling low on anyone, being patient for the right hockey trade, stockpiling picks, weaponizing cap space, players of all ages getting playing time, identifying what they have. we aren't supposed to be winning, they haven't signed any big free agents that didn't match the timeline - we could be seeing a mass exodus very soon.

How about just shooting the puck when you get a breakaway?

is biz wearing a tie? god he sucks.

Tanking means intentionally losing to obtain a higher draft pick, this team loses because despite a decade of premium picks they are so obviously outclassed by virtually evry opponent. Is it because Tippet, Foerster, Farabee, and on and on were mispent draft picks or Flyers development staff is totally inept. Every win this year is a surprise.

It's a national game. Just blacked-out so the local market broadcast can broadcast to the local broadcast market.
