Well we had Shesty, and a good :16 seconds tonight lol

Just throw the tape away and take out the refs knees in the parking lot, all 4 knees

Rangers flew into Calgary it was 15 degrees and snowing. They wanted no part of this game on the trip lol

Team got outworked which is the worst part.

They are too complacent and flat this season. Tro miller Zib regression really not ideal this year. Defense cannot turn any defense into offense off the rush either

Yea this was one of the more bs calls I’ve ever seen. The kicker is if it’s a Ranger that plays the puck it’s 1000000000000% no goal.

Infuriating

Anytime a puck is tossed high and someone tries to grab it and it hits off their hand it’s always called a stoppage. No idea how this was any different. Feel like it’s called literally anytime it touches someone’s damn hand lol

Yes, definitely infuriating. But, it doesn't change the fact that we played like diseased ass for 97% of the game. I find that a LOT more infuriating.

One of ours, Kreider I think, played one of the back of his glove, up near the wrist and it got whistled down. Can't make it up.

Just so flat in a lot of games. So comfortable looking with no energy. I feel like sake salt shakeup is needed

It happened again at center ice later on with the same player lol that’s why Trocheck got a penalty because he said a bad word, how dare he. You could tell the rangers were pissed all game after that and rightfully so. Imagine this was a playoff game and they lost by a goal

It makes easier to take because they had no business getting a point or two last night

To me it seems like when they don’t get any PPs it’s tough for them get any offensive mojo going in games and that’s when they rely on the goalies

I think back to the Trouba helmet throw and how bad they were playing and not winning games. Now they’re playing like that and at least winning the majority of games. I believe they’ll play more consistently better as the season goes on

Who would have known? Kakko can play center- was better at the draw than Fil.

For real if the goaltending was even only slightly above average for the season we’d be a bubble team at best right now. Ever since the Florida game we’ve played, on average, poorly. That’s more than half the season. It’s great we have Shesty and quick. It’s not how you win a cup. Shift after shift of being pinned in their own zone. Game after game. If they don’t figure that out the bottom will drop out

But we do have great goaltending and better than 90%; so that doesnt count? If you have great pitching, but no hitting are you giving back the WS rings? (88 Dodgers)

I don't think anyone is implying that. More that if this is the model of how they are going to keep playing, we have slim chances of making it through 4 playoff rounds.

Tbh if this kind of play is a sort of conserving energy for the playoffs I’m not freaking out. Last year they played every game like a playoff game (during the regular season) and it worked great until the playoffs and they ran out of gas. Idc about seeding this year and would prefer less intensity during season until the playoffs. Will that manifest itself idk but it seems logical lol

I think it is a bit too early to start conserving your energy for the playoffs.

This is the third game of a western road trip, it was going to happen sooner or later.

Just watched Lavi's post-game presser. That was one pissed off, frustrated coach. About the effort and the officials. And I don't blame him one bit.

Did they not go balls to the wall for the prez trophy or not?

It’s barely 1/3rd of the season and we have a 12-5-1 record. The sky is not falling as much as you make it out to be 🤷🏻‍♂️

They’ve played well at times, pretty poorly at other times. Things will work out rangers peaked too early last year is kind of what I mean

I would think that kakko playing center would be a major theme here today- WTf? Nobody but me is surprised or has any evaluations?

I don't know, such a weird night overall Kakko only played like 9 minutes, I need to see more before I even have an opinion to be honest
