Well I will give a few examples. Toronto were really bad drafted high draft picks even getting a generational player in the process. Can’t do anything in the playoffs. Edmonton several high draft picks. These players ended up costing them a lot in salary before they could find the right formula. Still have flaws based on salary to their highest paid. Buffalo enough said. So no the worse you are the better off isn’t always the case.
