Morganti agreed with what Tortorella said? That is big news. - Dkos
Frost's problem over the course of his career has been his compete level. I've said it many times he needs to impose himself on the game, and when he does that he is effective. Far too often he plays on the outside of the play. Kind of waits for someone else to do something instead of taking the reigns and doing it himself. Go get the puck, win a battle. He has skill, he CAN play with edge and grit, but it doesn't happen enough. Today he should have been a maniac out there. Hitting and battling and taking chances.

Frost has been disappointing this year…for me anyways. - landros 2
He has been disappointing to everyone. He hasn't had a good game all season in my opinion. Including today.

See Richard was sent down. He earned a longer look. Can’t waive ND. Against Flyers laws. |

I believe that Frost needs to and can play with more intensity. I don't think it's because he has a natural lack of compete. I think it's because of the environment that this coach has created for him. Even when he has played well, this coach has sat him or taken away ice time or benched him in games. He's tentative because he's trying to avoid mistakes. Stopped attempting higher risk plays that a playmaker like him can make. Knowing that one poor play will see him back in the press box again. Couple that with being on an expiring contract. Reality is sinking in that Tortorella has created another situation where a player asset is devalued and the most likely course is that a change of scenery needs to happen at this point. It's not going to happen here for this player under this coach. The question then becomes which player will take his place and fill the insatiable need this coach has to need a whipping boy. Like a toddler needs a teddy bear. |

Couldn’t be further from the truth, he still tries all his “cute plays” the spins and whatnot. He got cute all game getting stuffed in the neutral zone specifically in the third. If you’re going to play like that make something happen, he can’t score to save his life. I’d rather him play than Poehling but frosts time is up here and it’s all on him. |

Not only are you contradicting yourself (he needs to play with more intensity, but doesn't have a compete issue???), but you are embarrassing yourself. To put this much blame on Torts for Frost's failures is ludicrous! It's okay to admit that you were wrong and I was right. I know it stings, but take the loss and go home.

How in the fxck are so many teams below the Flyers. |

So Richard has 2 G and 4 A in 7 games, and is a +4, but he somehow gets sent back down to the minors? Guy has speed and was generating offense along with being defensively responsible. Send Frost down cause no one is gonna claim him off of waivers. |

Hi, how are your Pens doing this year? - Phillywhiteout
Looks like they are aiming for a bottom 3 spot. And they are not throwing the games intentionally.

Especially after the AVS & Canes game, they looked like a AHL franchise. |

Hold your horses! 🐎 They are just 2 points ‼️ behind the flyers with one more game played. Still they are dead last in the Metro. - THE EVIL WITHIN |

You are too funny! If Frosty was a Chuckles pick as opposed to a Hexy pick, you'd be bashing him left and right. I want Frosty to succeed as I'm a Flyers fan and want them to do well. That said, he's just not that good. |

I agree that Richard should be given a longer look. That said, ND hasn't played in 2 weeks and will not play much unless there is injury. It's time for the haters to get past ND.

I hear you. I'd like to see more of a look from Richard. Frosty, unfortunately, has no future here. He is a 3rd/4th line mediocre center at best. Just like Risto on D!

I've never liked his game. Hockey is meant to be an aggressive sport, but apparently Frosty never got the memo. And yet some folks want to place all the blame on Torts. I simply don't get it. |

I don’t like that move at all. I liked his play and his speed was helpful.
Side note, watching the stupid Canadian sports media up here. Sportsnet did a segment on best rookies. They went through the 3 person panel and no one mentioned mm as their Calder favourite. Dustin wolf and Stankoven were their picks. Holy biased. Mm was
Rookie of the month and still leads rookies in scoring wtf??? |
