They are. Adam Henrique got a 1st round pick. No reason Laughton couldnt get a late 1st either. Contenders dont value 1st round picks. The value for them isnt there that late. They are better off getting a known quantity. Players arent Computers either. They dont play at one level all the time. They do struggle at times as Laughton is right now. Oyher teams do value him. It is just the Flyers who have to decide to move him.

I hope you are right! I have always liked Laughton but just don't see us getting much for him at this point. I'd love to get a late 1st but figure at this stage of his career, it would be a 2nd rounder. The Flyers would probably value him worth more than a 2nd rounder and not let him go.
