Tickets are not tax deductible, that is non negotiable. Tickets can be claimed as a business promotion expense. I appreciate you may not understand the difference but it is significant. If I have a small business I cannot buy tickets for my son and I to go to a game and claim it as an expense. The obligation on me is to be able to prove (document) on audit it was a legitimate expense.
