Duh, Chabot is #3 on best prospect list. 4 Sens on the list. 0 Leafs. But what matters is the Sens went to the ECF. The Leafs did not.

I think he is in the bottom 1/4 of the league now for sure, Detroit was good at taking advantage of market inefficiencies 20 years ago but the rest of the league has caught up and passed them in many regards now.

Telling part of a story is much the same as an outright lie. Leafs had eight rookies on their team last year, four of which produced record results. Because they no longer qualify for your list, but are part of the future of the organization you omited this fact. Chabot is a strong prospect - as is Liljegren - both d-men picked around the same spot. Please remember prospects are not sure things - Ottawa drafted giant bust Daigle (first overall) and traded for Redden when Berard refused to sign with the Sens. Both those players were rated much higher than Chabot and had poor NHL careers. Finally, the Leafs prospect pool was rated 13th best in the NHL - down from 1st the previous year because all their young players are already producing significantly in the NHL. Ottawa was rated 12th despite having an old team with few players of much value under 25 years of age. Remember to tell the whole truth!

The 4th best rookie prospect we had last year put up 20 goals. White *MAY* be that good, but lets not forget that Vesey outscored him in college.

Dermott put up his numbers in the AHL, not the ass-end of junior. None of us know what the 2 Swede dmen are capable of, but they were coveted by a lot of teams.

I don't know when Spazzo's list was published (almost certainly within the last 12 years, since Sens history apparently does't exist before that). I would think there would be some Leafs on it now.

The Senators have never had a rookie class like the leafs had last year, in fact, only ONE rookie class was ever comparable in the history of the NHL.

So, if the cupboard is not quite as stocked as it was 2 years ago, I can live with the Senators prospect summer talk.

Chiarelli was hired well after Draisaitl was drafted and bozzo the clown would have selected McDavid in 2015. You are digging a hole that appears to be a bottom-less pit in the depths of stupidity here.

Some selections on the list can be argued a little, for me, Sakic is worse than rated and Polile is rated higher than he should. Chiarelli is putrid as evidenced by him trading Doug Hamilton and Tyler Seguin for close to zero return. In addition, he traded Hall for a mediocre at best, d-man. He's a lousy GM
