better city for one. Better team for two. Don't know about the rest.
Doesn't really matter. Kessel never stated he was going to test free agency, like Bobby Ryan has. - prock
Do you think you will be able to hold off the sens or do you think they will pass the leafs?

Oh give me a break. Burke screwed the rebuild by getting a 21 year old, former top 5 pick who scored 36 goals last season? You make it sound like they got a 35 year-old guy.
The Leafs would not have gotten a player as good as Kessel the next two years.
And the Leafs are definitely a playoff contender.
Considering the Leafs had the worst goaltending in the NHl last season, i'd love to know how they overachieved. Goaltending was suppose to be thir lone bright spot. - RogerRoeper
Tyler Seguin 36 goals, 82 points, +17
Phil Kessel 37 goals, 80points, -2 (has played 3 more games)

With the NHL’s free agency period all wrapped up and training camp set to open in just 2 weeks time, most bookmakers have updated their odds for both the 2014-15 Stanley Cup Champion, as well as the Conference Champions.
As it currently stands, most sports books have the Chicago Blackhawks, Los Angeles Kings and the Boston Bruins penciled in as the odds-on-favourites to win the Stanley Cup with their odds fluctuating anywhere from the 7-to-1 to 9-to-1 range.
Although the usual suspects sit atop the board as the heavy chalk, our hometown toronto maple leafs check in with the unfavourable odds of 40-to-1 at the LVH Super Book (now known as the Westgate Sports Super Book).
While those odds do present great value for leafs backers, they also reflect what bookmakers think of the toronto maple leafs upcoming season.
At 40-to-1, the maple leafs are tied for 16th in the NHL in terms of their chances of hoisting Lord Stanley. Additionally, the leafs check in as the 8th or 9th best team in the Eastern Conference according to the odds makers at the LVH with 18-to-1 odds of winning the Eastern Conference.
The maple leafs less than favourable chances according to Vegas are sure to draw the ire of leafs Nation. But based off of the last three years, this is nothing new when it comes to pre-season toronto maple leafs odds. In 2012, the team was a 50-to-1 underdog to win the Stanley Cup. The team was a 35-to-1 underdog in 2013 and a 25-to-1 underdog in 2014.
So, really, 40-to-1 is not that far of a stretch when you assess the Stanley Cup odds for their last three seasons. While Vegas may see the Leafs as a substantial underdog – much to the chagrin of leafs fans – most offshore books have the leafs as a consensus 45-to-1 underdog! Even lower than what the bookmakers out west have them at!
With the season still two months away, these lines will see some movement, but not much. As for the maple leafs, hey, if you think the Blue and White have a shot this year, taking them at 40-to-1 odds could make this a very memorable season for you if they pull it off! |

So middle of the league..right about where most would put them at the moment,
with similar goaltending and improved possession they could surprise and make the playoffs.
they still have the Carlyle factor so i dont see that happening until they dump him
I give it 15-20 games before that happens |

This would be terribly alarming to someone who is really occupied with race.
But a wise man once said:
You are the one who always brings race into the conversation every opportunity you can, because that's the prism in which you see the world.
I do not.

The video has nothing to do with race?
If that's what you gleaned from it, then perhaps you're the one who is preoccupied with race.
The video covers demographics, fertility rates in most Europe countries, North America and the decline in the current major religious groups in those countries and the comparison with the fastest growing religion in all those countries.
What I took from it, was the Major change in culture that is going to occur in these countries, within most of our lifetimes.
The major driving force behind the coming change in culture will come from the dominant religion in those countries within the next two decades.
In fact if you even bothered to listen to it, the word "race" is not even used once.
In a feeble attempt to label someone a racist, you don't put much behind it, to back up your false accusations.....................and most probably missed the entire point of the video, and will likely remain ignorant to it.
read these, it might help you understand the video http://www.telegraph.co.u...orming-our-continent.html

No it's not. Now can you answer my question?
And of course one of the problems I had with the video was it's loose definition of the word culture vis a vis it's incredibly strict demographic requirements for 'preserving a culture'.
Are we to believe that every muslim immigrating to Europe is from the same culture? |

So a racist, and an islamophobe.
Ps- it's funny you mentioned Nietzsche earlier, seeing as his ideas have a history of being completely misinterpreted by bigoted megalomaniacs.
Oh, and are we allowed to mention countries that had perfectly functional democracies before western intervention? - Feeling Glucky?
Typical left wing progressive tactics.
Insult someone who is a Pro-Western Culture supporter with your off the self Labels, but never engage in the conversation, offer your opinion or solutions to the problems explained in the video that you did not watch.
And by doing so you are endorsing the NON actions taken in Britain, where they've basically handed over numerous neighbourhoods to those imposing Sharia law on there residents, and are forming rape gangs to rape any woman not dressed to their strict cultural standards.
Perhaps you's be okay with Muslim men forming rape gangs in certain neighbourhoods in toronto, and have the police stop enforcing the law, because people like you would call them racist, or islamophobic. |

If your interpretation of racism means someone who supports their Country's founding principles, the rule of law being applied equally to all, immigrants conforming to the Country they come to rather than the Country conforming to their religious and cultural beliefs.............then you can call me whatever you see fit.
It's clear you did not watch the entire video either. |

WHAT!!!
I think that what you said here and what you said in your previous post that I bolded are 2totally different things. I'd call "I'm a pro-western culture supporter" racist. Someone who isn't racist and "doesn't see colour" and all the other nonsense you spewed shouldn't be making statements about things like that.
But you being a racist cannot see/doesn't want to see that it's racist. |

Why are you so pre-occupied with the colour of people's skin? Why not the colour of their eyes?
In case you didn't know, but there are a number of different coloured skinned people who live in Western cultured democracies, just as there are many different colours in numerous Islamic ruled countries.
The largest Democracy in the world is populated predominately by people of colour.
Your myopic view of the world, that Western styled democracies are inhabited exclusively by Caucasians is ludicrous.
But I guess in your racist view of this issue, you don't see that do you. |

I dind't say anything remotely close to this trash. WTF are you talking about.
I'm not the one talking about colour. I'm not the one talking about cultures. I never once said anything about western democracies.
This is the exact post I'd expect from a racist when questioned on it. Way to hit the nail on the head. |

Educate yourself my friend.
Here's a list of the worlds Democracies, where the rule of Law is predominant, and there is no "State Religion" that overrules the secular rule of law.
Andorra, Antigua and Barbuda, Argentina, Australia
Belgium, Benin, Brazil, Bulgaria
Canada, Cape Verde, Chile, Croatia
Denmark, Dominican Republic
El Salvador, Estonia
Finland, France
Germany, Ghana, Greece
Iceland, India, Ireland, Israel, Italy
Japan
Kiribati
Latvia, Lithuania
Malta, Mauritius, Mongolia, Montenegro
Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway
Palau, Peru, Portugal
Romania
Saint Kitts and Nevis, St. Vincent and Grenadines, San Marino, Senegal, Serbia,
Slovakia, Slovenia, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Sweden
Taiwan, Tonga
United States
Many of these countries are struggling with immigrants from one predominate Culture and Religion, that is using the rights granted with the freedoms allowed in a Democracy to congregate, not integrate, and trying to change their adopted country from within to conform to their theocratic view of the world.
Would you welcome this change in your country?
Remember the Government of Ontario almost allowed Sharia law as a parallel judicial system in Ontario a few years back http://www.theguardian.co...8/sharialawincanadaalmost

Yea, rape gangs should be stopped, regardless of if they're muslim or not.
Gang rape also isn't something that's acceptable in islam. Criminals hiding behind religion are still criminals.
Interesting that you see the natural result of immigration as the decay of society and formation of rape gangs. There's a word for people who share your mindset.
PS- No insults from my end. Just logical conclusions drawn from the things you say. If you find that insulting, maybe it's time for some self-reflection? |
