So you finally admit they're in a different tier.
Thanks.
You're funny, taking shots at Burke's managerial skills. Have you looked at Murray's track record? It's completely pitiful. he can't do anything right. He's proven it with many many many teams. - prock
Murray tricked Burke into selecting a bottom 6 forward in Kadri and was able to select a huge Defenceman in Cowen.

Sure he did....... 20 years of fail. Burke takes a team Murray couldn't do anything with, and builds them into a cup winner.
Just think, you've got a GM that can't build a cup winner unless Burke takes em over. |

Cowen is a defenceman, not a goaltender. He's in the NHL after playing in junior last year, while Kadri is struggling in his second AHL season.................great pick!!!

Just curious..... How do you figure Kadri is struggling in the AHL?
Is this one of those stats that you know better than the NHL or AHL at? Do you know of some AHL games that Kadri has played this season, that you'd like to inform the AHL of?

the sens are too young to be consistant, and their young talent isn't elite. wait a few weeks it'll get ugly, then you'll have some more good stretches, and ultimately pick top 5.

The Sens have over-achieved and have been playing with no pressure to make the playoffs. They have some decent young players, a couple of Grizzled Veterans, and a top level forward in Spezza. Their goal to start the year was not to make the playoffs, but to finish as far away from last overall as possible. So far so good. They are relatively healthy, but one key injury and they're toast. The Leafs on the other hand, have aspirations to actually make the playoffs. They have good depth at defence and decent goaltending. They have a game breaking forward in Kessel, plus some good secondary scoring. The Leafs are also the youngest team in the NHL and they have enough depth, to make a push for a playoff spot. Sunday nights game should be a great tilt, with both teams wanting to keep up their winning ways. If the Leafs can maintain their transition game and work over the Sens young defence, they should win. The great equalizer is Gustavvson, who at best is inconsistant. Which one will show up? The one that played in Montreal or the one that played against the Pens? It's a toss up. |

Every team,s goal is to win the stanley cup,not just make the playoffs. And as far as the injuries go isnt every team in the league a player or two from falling in the rankings |

I shows you don't know what you're talking about, Ottawa is older than Montreal, playing more consistent hockey than Montreal, is higher in the standing than Montreal, and it's "ugly" in Montreal right now and not so in Ottawa. |
