I shows you don't know what you're talking about, Ottawa is older than Montreal, playing more consistent hockey than Montreal, is higher in the standing than Montreal, and it's "ugly" in Montreal right now and not so in Ottawa. - Doppleganger
yeah youre 100% right about everything |

Not mad at all. I know one team from the province will probably be mathematically eliminated before the allstar break. Why you changing the subject?
You say the Leafs aren't as good as I think? Maybe. I don't think the Sens are as good as you think, if you think they're in the same tier as the Leafs. The Sens are in the same tier as the Marlies. Good for an AHL team. Absolute horsecrap, terrible, junk, for an NHL team. - prock
i guess the leafs are in the same tier too |

Meh, sloppy game. It's a shame the Leafs would give up a game on a terrible goal on their backup goalie. There's good reason Reimer is the starter now. |

But surely they'd beat a defenseless team like Ottawa, especially with their captain being out and a 20-year-old in net. |

Their captain is old and decrepid. He's really a notable player anymore. I'm not sure why you bring it up. |

A team already lacking so much leadership like Ottawa is an even easier target with fewer veterans. Especially when his replacement is that cancer Filatov. And horrifically, because of the dearth of talent on the Sens team, that old and decrepit captain is still one of the best forwards.
Really astounding that the Leafs didn't win by six or seven. |

Meh, can't win em all. It's just one game. They're still second in the Eastern conference. Third, really, but second by the standings. Not that I think it will stay that way. But nor will the Sens winning games. |

No but iam sick of listening to you say they are not in the leafs league ,when in fact they are .The leafs are a fringe playoff team at best or at worse a lottery team just like the sens. |

You're letting your team off too easy. Look down the Sens roster:
Spezza - soft overpaid one-dimensional complementary forward
Michalek - injury-prone bust who keeps reminding us of how badly they got reamed in the Heatley trade
Greening - some AHL scrub
Foligno - fourth or third liner at best
Neil - overpaid goon who never fights anyone his size or bigger
Butler - one-dimensional AHLer
Filatov - bust and cancer
Da Costa - small, soft, slow, and French
Konopka - can't even fight
Winchester - lol what a lousy college signing
Condra - who?
Daugavins - some AHL scrub
Phillips - over the hill and always been over-rated
Gonchar - was done as a player eight years ago
Kuba - LOL
Karlsson - not as good as Gunnarsson
Rundblad - most over-rated prospect in the world
Cowen - force? more like farce amirite?
Lehner - lost at the WJCs; Robin is a dumb name for a guy
You say you can't win 'em all but if the Detroit Red Wings played in a tournament with pee wee hockey teams they would win every game. A loss to a joke like the Senators should honestly incite some serious introspection by the Leafs' organization.

Not necessary. Your coaching beat out our coaching. Firing Ron Wilson would solve that problem in a second |

I suspect a healthy Reimer wouldn't have knocked any shots in his own net also. |

Do you think either Phaneuf or Schenn showed up to play in Ottawa? I did not see anyone standing out on the leafs defensive corp.
I thought Kessel was going to have a field day (with his speed) vs the two rookie defensemen for the Senators.............but did no see his getting by them too much. |

Shouldn't make a difference playing against a 20-year-old AHLer. Leafs have some serious problems. |

An injured Reimer wasn't the reason they were out-shot and only scored two goals on a garbage team. |
