No, I have not. When I open my account here, the other spelling was already taken, so I spelled it the other, acceptable way.

When you clearly target leaf fans in the title of your post, obviously you are tryng to draw leaf fans here, but nice try
No matter how you look at it,not even bringing the leafs into it, youare clearly overrating the sens chances at doing gret this year. YEs ther is a chance, but more than likely (much more than likely) you will finish bottom 5 in the league, probably bottom 3. Normal when you go through a rebuild. |

spin it anyway you want, but the thread title is accurate. The two Ontario teams will be finishing 4th and 5th in the Division. I'm sorry you can't accept this.
Stop whining about being "targeted" there is no freaking way the leafs are going to finish 5th in the conference, as suggested earlier. |

No its not. The sens don't measure up with anyone. They'll be fifth barring a disaster of epic proportions by another team. They're the worst in the division at every position. |

Don't have to........actions speak louder than words.
In Internet slang, a troll is someone who posts inflammatory, extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community, such as an online discussion forum, chat room, or blog, with the primary intent of provoking readers into an emotional response or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion |

So the leafs have better goal-tending depth???
I'd suggest that Anderson, Auld and Lehner are better than toronto's top three on thier goal-tending depth chart. |

454 games played for sens goalies, 102 for leafs. Leafs goalies have potential but are hardly proven nhl goaltenders. |

Well I'll respectively disagree.
Head to head, "starter vs Starter" I'd say Anderson is better than Reimer.
If you compare Anderson's Senator numbers and Reimers with toronto, they have virtually identical GAA's, but Anderson's SV% is much better than Reimer's.
Back ups...............
Auld's numbers with Montreal are better than "the Monster's" by a long shot.
And Lehner's performance in AHL last spring speaks for itself, and whomever is deemed third on the leafs goal-tending depth chart is not even in the discussion.
So you're entitled to your opinion, but looking at the numbers, I doubt anyone with any objectivity would honestly agree with you. |

Great. More games played. The Sens goalies may be old and proven, but they aren't really proven GOOD goalies. I like Anderson, but his performance is all over the map from year to year. Auld is just a career backup.
Lehner is a great young prospect. One of the best out there. But the Leafs have TWO young prospects still in the AHL. One that put up similar numbers and one that put up better numbers.
So if you want to ask about depth.... Yep, the Leafs have them beat there.

i dont agree with his depth arguement cause scrivens and ryannas are decent prospects and ottawa only has lehner.
On paper heading into the season the sens have advantage in goal because of experience. Riemer has more potential then anderson and auld but he has proven nothing to date. |

You can agree with yourself all you want, but it's still one person who believes your premise.
I see more people in this thread who agree with me, that Ottawa's goal-tending (Depth) is better than toronto's.
Goalies - Both had similar stats this past season, but I will give the slight edge to Ott because Andersson has more experience.n - mfreedman
so you remain all by yourself on this issue. |

Feel free to disagree. But that's what depth is. More capable players at a given positiion. Both teams top players are a gamble.... And the Leafs have more capable goalies behind them. One of them even outperformed lehner last year. |

No. Not all by myself.
Admittedly its close. When something subjective is close you will see opinions on both sides. Note that he cited experience not depth, like you tried. So guess what, he hasn't agreed with you.
Either way, when forwards and defense are so far better for the Leafs its laughable, and you're trying to cite goaltending DEPTH as something to give the Sens the slight edge in goal, it pretty much completely refutes the premise of this thread..... The Sens as a whole are a basement dwelling team that don't measure up to anyone in the division.
You're going to have to set your sites lower and look outside the division. Maybe Florida? |

Ottawa's goaltending is better than the Leafs, until Reimer shows consistancy we just don't know, but Ottawa is going to compete for the #1 pick, Toronto probably competes for a playoff spot. |

Fair opinion.... My point is, do you really know what you're getting out of Anderson? He's had entire seasons of sub-.900 play, to go along with his pretty good seasons. Both goalies have shown they can be very good. One has shown ONLY that, but it's a very short track record. The other has shown that, mixed in with entire seasons of sub-par play.
Neither of them are a sure thing. I'd personally take my chance on Reimer over taking a chance on Anderson. But each to their own. |

Personally I thought the Anderson trade was awful considering it cost them draft position. For a team that has no chance of competing and should be looking at a high pick for this year getting an avg veteran goalie is pointless. They could have signed someone in the offseason. I don't see how Murray isn't one of the worst GM's in the league. |

Wow you are such an idiot it is amazing.. All I said is that you mentioned leafs int he thread, which invites leaf fans to the discussion..
You are telling me if I entitle a topic as:
"SENS FANS ARE THE BIGGEST (frank)ING JOKE OF THE NHL, AND THEIR TEAM IS IN SHAMBLES! ALL SENS FANS ARE DELUSIONAL!"
If any sens fan comments on this, can I call them a troll because tey entered a leafs thread?
Note: This was a rhetorical question as any response other than "You are correct Mr. Freedman Sir" would be fairly idiotic |
