although i'd totally call it social feedya if i were running a diner and wanted an online presence.

the best client i ever worked with while doing that stuff was a diner/cafe because they had an idea of what they actually wanted to do and what they wanted to promote

so many come to you with no goals or even ideas (no big deal), then expect you to come up with ideas and plans (fine), and then market their business for basically free (not fine)

we once had a client who wanted a web commercial for Youtube and they were hoping we could film, edit, produce and find air time for it for like 300 bucks

i used to do a wee bit of freelance for people I knew.

I set this guys company up with a really good plan and ran it for 8-9 months, meticulously detailed how it worked, how to keep it running in the future, how to make things look nice, etc. i couldn't have dumbed it down any more.

the (frank)ing day i handed it back to him their Twitter/FB/IG morphed into grandpa posting. 1 month later he asked me to "fix it up a bit" for "free" because "clearly i didn't do it right" when it caved after he took over.

all i could think about was how the lead actress was cast solely because she was a bobo lookalike Liv Tyler. Only found out it was actually her until after i turned it off.
