i'm think i'm going for the adventures of buckaroo banzai across the 8th dimension next because the name is so cheesy but looking at reviews it looks like there were a lot of people who actually liked it.

They get into it pretty early with the monsters, the humans never stand a chance and are willing to admit it 80% of the time, and Ken Watanabe gets to act his ass off which was a pleasure.

The main human story is lame as (frank) as always but the destruction porn is pretty hot stuff.

They've laid some ground work for King Kong vs Godzilla, and I legit think that the post credits scene (this might be reaching) is getting into Mecha Godzilla-Pacific Rim territory before too long.

plus, have you ever subscribed to the theory of "(frank) Boston"?

i have an ok sound system but yeah, the movie theatre experience is still better for this type of movie usually minus the other people
