did i ever tell the boring story about how it broke me physically? it's hard as (frank) but i was consistently progressing until eventually a thumb blister from using a dpad extensively for the first time in decades made it impossible to play more. haven't touched the game since. the game defeated me.

(frank)in great game though.

it was an xbox 360 dpad. pretty sure those could rip through even the most seasoned calluses. my supple thumb stood no chance.

worst dpad in existence. i would buy a 3rd party controller to play fighting games

legit was a consideration for me in deciding between xbone and ps4

the nintendo switch dpad is a strong competitor too. maybe doesn't feel as harsh as the 360 dpad but it feels inaccurate and it's hard to be fast with it.

i haven't noticed but i also don't find any games on the switch to be as intense or twitchy as a fighting game or something like super meat boy

meat boy is on switch i think

the only switch game i play that really requires quick precise controls is smash bros and the dpad is only for taunts and poop so it's fine. i use a GC controller for that anyway but all movement is with the joystick.

you haven't even played spider-man, the 2018 game of the year must-play masterpiece. your spider-man related opinions are invalid as a result, and quite frankly it's difficult to understand how someone could live like this.
