Lol no kidding. Julien is probably the most competent person in the organization right now. He has his warts but he can coach. Sweeney? He's been in action for like 4 days and already needs five winning moves to break even. That's a remarkable amount of ineptitude.

the flyers and bruins have always sort of seemed like similar organizations that you could be proud to be a fan of. while i hope they don't beat up on the flyers i do kind of hope they turn this weirdness around.

i mean, who (besides a habs fan, for legitimate and obvious reasons) could truly hate a team that had cam neely and ray bourque on it during my formative years?

Chara has an iron clad NMC and said he's retiring a Bruin which I'm fine with. That was another issue with Chiarelli. Every mother(frank)er gets some sort of NTC. Guys like Kelly for (frank) sakes....totally tied his hands trying to trade his way out of cap hell.

Hamilton trade is so disapointing because the Flames have so many great young players and the Bruins should have landed one of them plus the first IMO.

Brodie and a 1st would have been better IMO.

I hope he bounces back in LA. He's a throwback and we don't see too much of that style these days.

but then again our gm does something i don't think was necessary with the parenteau buyout.
think he could have traded him and retain 50% this year. someone would have grabbed him at $2mil for 1 season.
