Because people don't go out and support new IPs anymore so those movies and properties would lose money so the studios went and found known properties that have a lower chance of failure due to a pre-built fan base.

new IPs were some of the worst for being pirated because you had Apples's that would just DL it instead of pay to see it because "don't wanna spend money if it isn't perfect"

Channing Tatum is gonna be Gambit and I'm meh to it because Gambit is supposed to be lanky and suave and poop. I actually thought Taylor Kitsch was quite good as Gambit but now he's trying be be Cop Batman in TD s2

Gal Gadot is Wonder Woman and she's a dead ringer in terms of looks but the extent of her acting ability that I've seen is not wearing a bra+white shirt in Fast and Furious 4 and then a bikini in Fast Five and in general just being "hot looking girl that doesn't say anything much"

yeah seems like an odd choice for him. gambit was always cool as poop though the hype is going to be huge because for some reason he has yet to even be in an xmen movie yet, right?

He was in one movie, Xmen Origins: Wolverine, but that movie wasn't great and has kinda been forgotten

Gambit is my favourite Xmen, which is weird because the way Canadians are you think I'd automatically root for the short, hairy, angry, amnesiac Canadian which is Wolverine but the Americans love him way more.

The rumoured plan is for Gambit to take over in terms of the solo business for Xmen from Wolverine since Hugh Jackman is getting old and his contract is up and they don't wanna pay him anymore.

I am p excite for new Spidey because he's legit high school.

But they need to go back to making him a nerd. Like a bumbling nerd. Like Toby McGuire was. I can't buy that charismatically charming, suave, well dressed, stylish, handsome and athletic Andrew Garfield is (frank)ing Peter Parker. (frank) off Sony.

I really want them to go so dumb high school sarcasm too with him. There is great moment in the 2012/2013 Daredevil run of comics where he comes across The Punisher and he's with a lady and Spiderman shows up and says "Hey Frank, good to see you're dating agian!" and then in the thought bubble goes "Oh poop that was dumb oh (frank) but (frank) it I said it" and then Punisher just starts unloading shotgun rounds at him.

Also in the same run of comics, Iron Man goes to help Daredevil at one point and all these street thugs are shooting at Iron Man with uzi's and he just turns to them and goes "really?" and they all scatter and piss their pants.

Like he was better at being Spiderman with the sarcasm and stuff but he wasn't a (frank)ing nerd. Peter Parker is a (frank)ing nerd. A giant (frank)ing nerd dork. A total dweeb. He's basically Jamison from the WWF back in like 89.

I also hope that in like 2029 they do Spiderman: Reign and we get an on-screen live action rendition of Peter Parker grieving over MJ's death because his dingaling is radioactive and it killed her via cancer

Crims I urge you to watch episode 1 if schitt's creek and to fall deeply in love with a character if my chosing

So I was reading up on Fantastic Four and why its so bad and it totally makes sense. I guess they had an original cut that was all sci-fi horror ish, which you can see from the scenes where you learn they have powers and the way that Doom just explodes peoples heads, but that Fox went "make it more like the Avengers. Get it goofy!" and the did a ton of reshoots.

It makes sense because the pacing and editing feels so wrong, and you can even tell because Sue Storm changes hair styles from one scene or set piece to the next and I guess its because Kate Mara, who is gorgeous and I'm gonna (frank), had to wear a wig because she cut her hair.
