I'll get poop on for this but I sorta don't do classic movies much. I have a massive movie backlog as it is and while there are definitely exceptions I find most movies pre-1960 so to be overrated as all (frank) so I haven't really made it a priority to see films that dinosaurs like those would have been in.

hitchcock and welles are two big exceptions for me. i was going to add lumet to the list but really only 12 angry men came out before 1960.

I have a similar issue.

I looked at my movie backlog and calculated around like 130 hours and it only grows. This also doesn't include TV

Had i not seen classic Dracula and Frankenstein as an Adam Jr i probably would get around to watching them now. But seeing them as a Jr gave them a little place in my noggin' and I rewatched both 1930's versions or whatever year there I think last Halloween or the one before.

I also seent the most recent glamourized Hollywood versions of each character and they (frank)ing sucked. They turned Dracula into this misunderstood bad boy like he was Wreck It Ralph. I, Frankenstein was horrendous unless you think that Mary Shelley always wanted the monster to be a half naked Aaron Eckart with a few scars that drank like 8 litres of Captain America potion.

Also the Frankenstein movie from like the recent months was just plain boring. ONce it got good it ended. Lame ass

I haven't seen Citizen Kane in it's entirety and I really want to.

Am probably gonna watch it in the next month or so.

I rewatched Snowpiercer the other day. I have no idea what I saw in that movie but I don't like it nearly as much as I used to. Like it feels so totally average and even lame ass in points.

i was so late getting into Lynch. My first experience with him was Mulholland Drive. To this day it still might be the best representation of a dream I've seen on film.

I couldn't believe it when I discovered that basically his entire filmography was movies like that.
