This is really random but it sort of fits the thread.

I watched some two part BBC special on Stonehenge on the weekend. I always love how historians jump to conclusions with zero evidence.

They found bones in a buried ditch, the cause of death being arrows (arrow wounds on the ribs, etc). Their conclusion? It was a sacrifice. No evidence whatsoever but that's what it was according to them.

In a similar kind of sense, I get a chuckle out of space people saying "oh, we found this planet that is like earth but instead of rain it has (something absurd like diamonds or hamburgers) falling from the sky"

Then they run like two more tests twenty years later and are like "oh it was just dust on our poopty space lense. nvm" or "its nothing like earth because we looked at it more"

Crims, I've never understood why in the Marvel comic universe the cops/judicial system think it's a good idea to send The Punisher to prison.

His whole deal is that he kills the super worstest of criminals. Then they send him to not even a regular max prison, but a super max. Then he kills all the worst people and breaks out.

Putting the Punisher with criminals is literally the farthest thing from punishment. It makes his murder hero Richard so hard. It's nice to have a hero that is so unapologetic about killing.

Then the cops are like "darn it. We gotta arrest this guy and put him up on trial again. God dammit. Why does this keep happening? I don't get it!"

It's like Rorshach in Watchmen. He's not stuck in there with bad guys. The bad guys are stuck in there with him.

Also I was thinking and at no point can Batman really ever succeed against the Joker. The Joker always wins in the end. Probably why he's such a compelling villain.

Same kind of thing why Zemo was good in civil war. Because even if his plan fails at nearly every turn, he still succeeds in some capacity.

This is what bugged me about Man of Steel. Zoo said "the only way you'll beat me is if you kill me" and new retarder Zack Snyder superman kills him. The villain won in the end. Man Zack Snyder is the worst
