I think after O Brother and Ladykillers I was ready to hate it before I even saw it. Other than True Grit I haven't watched a Coen bros movie since.

Their output up to that point was fantastic. Raising Arizona was their only non top tier film until O Brother came out and I mostly just don't like it because Nic Cage is (frank)ing horrible.

I love the banter too. The back and forth between Bridges and his partner in Hell or Highway is great.
