Figured as much. Thought parts of the first one were pretty ok based solely on entertainment principles. The whole opening sequence was cool..... and the Rage against the machine kicked in and I was like wha?

Dude that poop is Star Trek in name only. It's a bastardized noncannon parody that relies on CGI effects to carry it and in no way resembles the Gene Roddenberry vision of the future.

I will peep the third one over the holidays but I'm sure I could probably tell you all about it without even watching the actual film.
