Sometimes remakes aren't complete abortions. The Dredd revamp was superior to the original in every single possible way.

I read an article that made me sad. They had a video game where they were basically gonna do Batman: Arkham Asylum but with Judge Dredd in the tower and it gave me a boner but it never saw the light of day.

That movie followed the graphic novels a lot closer, which is why it was good. Urban was (frank)ing great,but Lena Headey killed.

When I watched the Total Recall remake, oddly, Brian Cranston was my least favorite part of it. I actually liked the different take on it and Kate Beckinsale is just. The orig is still the best but I didnt hate it.

I literally fell asleep watching whatever the last one was when I couldn't find anything better on TV. I'll will never ever forgive them for murdering Devastator so horribly.

I feel like Cranston won't get out from under the shadow of Walter White or he'll just become that older actor making character pieces about "some guy" for the rest of his career.

And without Star Wars graduating from nostalgia imagery you won't get anything good. But there is really so little establsihed of what Star Wars is beyond nostalgia imagery they're probably too scared to to do it

Pretty sure it was his peak. Just a character that he meshed with perfectly, and he doesn't seem to posess the versatility to do other memorable things.

I read that they were thinking of a GI Joe crossover where The Rock became half Megatron and fought Optimus

I'd watch that.

What I won't watch is the Black Adam solo movie starring The Rock because DC casted him and then was like "wait he's kind of really popular..."

Instead of just casting him as Shazam. Maybe John Cena will be Shazam and one of those dork kids from Stranger Things can be Billy Batson

But knowing DC they'll make Billy Batson some kid in juvie who listens to Linkin Park all day and lives with his bumhole step dad.

Go follow these two droids to that ship over there named the Millennium Falcon"

Droid soldiers, cloners, pod racing,a stupid love story...I mean yeah there was Jaba and Yoda and lightsabres but those things are all pretty integral to the SW universe.

Just watch Clone Wars. Darth Maul returns with bionic legs and fights the Emperor at one point and they go pretty deep into EU mythology. Cartoon or no, it's probs the best SW you can watch.
