Fun fact: I haven't broken a single controller or headset since I quit playing NHL and COD.

I never realized how fun video games could be when I played good games that are fun!

I bit my SNES controller when I was a kid out of rage and it left teeth marks. I still have that controller lol. Truly shameful stuff. Hilarious though.

I bit my SNES controller when I was a kid out of rage and it left teeth marks. I still have that controller lol. Truly shameful stuff. Hilarious though.

my go-to was swinging it around like a lasso and smashing it against furniture. eventually had to wrap scotch tape around the center over select/start.

Son of a biscuit... I said a few years ago that I can't wait for COD to return to a simpler time. This is definitely a step towards that.

Just wonder how bananas they're going to go with dumb BS on kill streaks and loadouts.

I wonder how much of this was influenced by the COD4 remaster being popular and seeing the BF franchise continue to do well.

It's been steaming garbage for one reason or another since MW2. I'm excited they're going back to WWII but have little faith.

This implies MW2 wasn't a steaming pile of trash itself

COD4 was about as perfect as it got for the franchise. The things that pissed you off weren't terribly game breaking.

World At War was fine. Whatever

MW2 was a good game at its core but had absurd amounts of abusable BS and broken stuff that never got fixed.

Blops was pretty good. Mainly for the alternate game modes and usable variety, but had broken masterclasses and sound design

MW3 was a giant (frank)ing heap of poop

Blops Deuce was pretty good, but definitely pretty meh also. The continual "innovation" of turning your guy into spaceman superhero and then having more tech than Batman was really lame ass.

Never played anything after mw3. Refused to spend another penny. I would ask one question: did they fix the spawning issue? No, they still spawn behind you....I'm out

Also, the lack of dedicated servers is a deal breaker. The guys I play with are all in the UK and some of the lag issues were brutal.

There were some great things on MW2. The kill streaks ( pred, harriers, attack chopper) were awesome. You could hold down an area of the map without worring about getting spawn killed from behind. The quick snipe and the running through claymore so were the things that pissed me off the most

I hope this is good, I'm not optimistic

nostalgia goggles. cod4 was the first awful cod. hilariously unbalanced guns, killstreaks that count towards the next killstreak if you die and respawn while the chopper is out, fragx3 with nuke grenades, damage glitches (acog making snipers deal more damage). the maps were good but it was a mess overall.
