i had this exact convo last month.

americans are all fat, in debt, in need of medication, and injured from an accident and looking to sue apparently.

our commercials are so much less serious. big time culture shock when watching american tv or listening to something like espn radio.

The ads are totally different, yeah.

Hell, I watched a local news broadcast when I was there and they had a full 5 minute spot on how one Macy's store was closing and had great deals, but if you signed up for the Macy's Credit Card and went across town to the store that ISN'T closing you could actually get the same stuff for even less!

They called a 5 minute long credit card ad an investigative piece.

Not a movie about romance. Famous people actors playing out bible stories. A movie of Good vs Evil. The movie represent Good vs Evil with undertones: -Evil: The Devil (Michael Fassbender, modern music) & hell (California, diverse multicultural society), sinner (a black haired Rooney Mara) -Good: Jesus (Ryan Gosling) & Heaven (Texas, Texas Oil, no diversity), Angel (a blonde haired Natalie Portman) This movie has very little dialogue and if you've scene the movie 'Drive', and you know about Bible stories, and you mix the two together, you get this movie 'Song to Song'. It stereotypes black people and people with tattoos as bad evil sinners. Not once do you see them playing anything else. This movie didn't even try to write an original script. If you know religion and their stories, this movie becomes 100% predictable with and attempt of artistic camera angles and hand held recording to give a documentary style effect. I was bored with only the visuals to keep me from walk out of the theatre.

I'm about to go full daeth:

famous people actors.

black hair = evil. blond hair = saintly. racist as (frank).

also a character with a tattoo is an bumhole in the movie. i got a tramp stamp while i was slutting it up in film school so f that. what a bad movie.

a movie with biblical themes is unoriginal. now give me a movie with a cookie cutter story arc and a plot twist at the end. now that is original.

oh ya and the guy from drive is in it and that movie has no plot so it's like a racist drive bible story.
