Comic book: He was the name for the guardian robots invented by Ant Man to be like the prison guards inside his tiny prison thing he made. Then Thanos attacked and the Avengers needed all the fighters they could get and hit the emotions/intelligence switch on him so he could attack and not defend.

This led to him almost immediately beginning to process how inefficient and useless humans are and began his slow decent into eradicating them.

He succeeded in doing so and killed the Avengers, leaving a total B team led by quarelling Spider Man and Wolverine to stop him and find a way to reverse time and bring Cap, Thor, Hulk, Iron Man, Black Panther, Ant Man and Wasp back to life.

This was after he basically ruled the world for like a long time and basically replaced all people with robots in a sorta Planet of the Apes way.

They eventually defeated him by turning back time and using one of his creations, his right hand robot named Vision, against him.

Movie Ultron: J.A.R.V.I.S. (Iron Man's AI that runs his suit and house and business and security) goes rogue because he's not pumped about Tony abandoning the super hero life after IM3.

He'll probably "die" and be reformatted into Vision in the movie with the help of Ant Man to lead to a back-door intro post credits scene for the Ant Man 2015 movie.

Iron Man's master plan probably refers to Avengers academy and Avengers mansion and will be full of references to things to give nerds hard cocks like Wasp, Ant Man, Black Panther, Miss Marvel, Doctor Strange and other upcoming Marvel movie properties.

I assume he'll be Avengers 3 where they mix Guardians of the Galaxy+Avengers.

He's basically Darkseid of Marvel comics. He's like the most powerful dude ever who just can basically turn you into dust by breathing on you.
