the science-y bits are really dumb, but as a drama i really liked it. i feel like a lot of the hate it gets is from people that are looking at it as a standard sci-fi film when it's more about the relationship between the father and daughter. it's not a smart movie though, same with inception.

for real though i did read that dunkirk is way too loud, like rock concert levels of loud. louder than actual war lol. he did this with interstellar too, made dialog hard to hear.

Yeah, I dunno how I feel about it. The accuracy of the original was where most of the charm came from.

Will probably watch a few episodes and see what happens.
