I'm catching up more on TP and it might be the worst case of blue balls in TV I've ever seen, unless there is a payoff. I"m on to ep 10 and some poop i keep yelling at my tv liek "COME ON. SOMETHING (frank)ING HAPPEN"

I hope Lynch pays it off but part of me thinks he might jerk off to the idea of never paying it off since he never wanted to really pay off Laura Palmer in the old series

A lot of people have been pretty pissed off with it, especially since Lynch has been spending a lot of time on scenes that don't really appear to have any plot relevance. They are just there for the hell of it (sweeping scene, the bands at the end, stuff like that).

I've enjoyed the ride myself though. It's been one of the most interesting shows I've seen. I won't spoil anything so I'll just leave it at that.

yeah agreed. but you gotta admit, it was sort of designed to at least appear like a troll job in that split second. I honestly thought the TV broke and panicked for that 5 seconds before the credits and i realized how masterful it was. that whole scene just grabbed you by the throat.
