Going to It tonight

Hoping to see Lego: Ninjago this week.

Kinda want to see mother! to laugh at it. Trying to think of a movie where I was like "Damn Jennifer Lawrence is a good actor" and literally zero are coming up.

She was good in the first 2 of the new-old Xmen but still can't hold a candle to Fassbender

I'm too indifferent to most of your list. I liked Whiplash but I wouldn't get offended by people not liking it.

Fun story about Whiplash: I went to see it at the student run pseudo art-house theatre in town but what I didn't realize is that for some reason they were playing the French one. Took me like 10 minutes to figure out it was dubbed in French and it wasn't just part of the movie.

French is so arty, it elevates the movie! ._.

Your list I almost entirely agree with, though I like Blade Runner and I've warmed up to The Grand Budapest Hotel even if it's pretty much my least fav Wes Anderson movie. The Wolf of Wallstreet is an especially strong hate.

The worst part of older cartoons was the singing. (frank) signing in movies.

I've said it a bunch of times but she's decent in Winter's Bone. Mostly because she acts like herself and it fits within the story.

i didn't even notice this until i heard the red letter media guys mention it but avatar is just a prepackaged version of ferngully anyway. i liked ferngully when i saw it as a kid but it likely doesn't hold up now.
