Because you just (frank)ing know that instead of something neat it'll be Rogue One all over again but painted over with every quip from the old films about things he may have done prior to meeting Luke.

'LOOK AN IMPERIAL DESTROYER. I HOPE THEY DON'T ATTACK US WITH AT-AT'S! OH NO THEY BROUGHT AT-ST'S INSTEAD. OH poop. LOOK UP. TIE-FIGHTERS"

There's gonna be a scene where he smuggles a Jedi or like some Jedi cargo and is all dismissive of the lightsabers

The climax will be the Kessell Run. Maybe he races against Lando and for some reason Boba Fett

Jabba will show up for 12 seconds and Greedo will be standing next to him.

Him and Chewbacca won't get along at first, but are friends at the end

They'll shoehorn in a Vader jerk off scene.

There will be a prison or bar scene where he talks with an old smuggler who is the visual representation of what he could be if he isn't careful. The old smuggler wuill be like "That's dangerous. you have a family boy? kids?" He'll probably be like. "Kids? Heck to that. Little bastards would be the death of me"

His parents are going to die because no one in movies is allowed to have parents.

Like it could be a fun Oceans 11 in space but it won't be.

it'll go for the high rottentomato score just like the others. play it as safe as possible so everyone gives it a 3 out of 5 while racking up an 80%++ tomatometer.

dumb as poop story but it's filmed really well and it has a cool and creepy atmosphere. if you ever do watch it make sure it's the directors cut or whatever it's called.

Alien 3 didn't have a chance of being anything other than a mess. It went through multiple scripts and directors before Fincher signed up and the new script wasn't even finished by the time he started filming I don't think. The pre-built sets were based on previous drafts too lol. Given the state of things he did a great job I think. He molded that turd into something somewhat recognizable.
