S1 matters more in terms of character relations with Selina, Gordon, Alfred, etc.

S2 has legit divergent paths. i may have two saves going on. i'm sure by the end of the season it'll all come back to like 3 yes/no's, but through 3 eps i'm really surprised how different ish is so far by being a Richard vs nice guy.

i did some reading up on it and ep 4 is apparently bananas different for half of it based on what you did in 3 so i'm excited to get into 4 but not sure which file i want to play it on first

david cage doesn't even consider himself a game designer or whatever. he calls himself a filmmaker for making the Mother! of video games like 5 times.

Farenheit completely failed once you turned into a ghost ninja and could backflip helicopters
Heavy Rain fails once you find out the game mechanics are designed around lying to you
Beyond Two Souls is literally the dumbest poop.

you're way too caught up in the internet hate boner for the guy

beyond two souls was fine. while his storytelling is still often amateur and heavy handed he at least touches on subjects that are interesting on occasion instead of the usual cookie cutter stories we see in games. beyond two souls is essentially a story about lonelines, isolation, and rejection. the dumb sci-fi elements are just a vehicle for those themes. there are some legitimately moving scenes in the game, while it also has some of the dumbest scenes i've ever seen in a game.

That said I just broke my commercial lease deal and I'm setting up an office at home and will save MILLIONS and therefore buy tons of PS4s

Apple is the devil but it's easier for me as a graphic designer to have all in Apple. I tried the switch years ago and to save a few bucks it was a pain in the ass dealing with all the Mac files conversion and the fonts (frank)ing up and all. Never again.

I will settle the PC console debate once and for all :

PC has the better graphics and framerate, always. Denying this would be to put one's head in the sand. But there are a bunch of exclusives on console that are very very worth it.

So get both a PC and a PS4. Best of both worlds. (don't bother with an XbeastOneX. There's nothing it does that a PC can't do.) You can also substitute the PS4 with a Switch. (Or get both but that's a lot of money at this point, not errrrryone will wanna do that.)
