This game stands out as an exceptional entry in a series that has consistently delivered action-movie thrills. If you’ve felt series fatigue creeping in with recent entries, Far Cry 5 is just the antidote you need. It’s an incredible game. Play it. Love it. Just don’t get brainwashed by the cult.

it could just be a movie/tv show and i'd still "play" it. QTE gameplay and perception of choice are just ways to gamify it, and in the case of this batman it adds more to the experience than it takes away from it.

can't possibly get less excited about ubisoft slop like ass creed and far crap. they're all the same grindy collectathons with shallow gameplay and trash stories. play one in the series and you've played them all.

so the new god of war is coming out next month. im buying it but i think i'll hate it. when aaa games try to focus on their story while throwing gameplay to the side it pretty much always ends up being a disaster. aaa game writers are (frank)ing awful and should probably just kill themselves.
