oh wow. i'm probably 2 weeks out at this point since I'm only playing when me and my buddy can get together.

My friend and I beat Until Dawn in one night I think lol. We're pros when it comes to this junk.

i think Until Dawn took us like 2 weeks and a Way Out was around the same.

We'll probably have a marathon sesh on Detroit at some point

I will give the game credit for the detective scenes like you said. They're excellent so far. They're like the Batman telltale or Arkham series ones but improved.

Oh yeah, I played that game a bit with my friend too. We were having an ok time but then we hit a glitch and couldn't progress any further and gave up. We kept falling through the floor when we walked through this one door you had to go through or something like that lol. It was part of some humble bundle or something so we weren't mad. No money wasted.

it was a game that started well but caved in by the end. anytime you're in a ghost/magic/mystical/etc. kind of setting it can be tiring when the explainations for things, especially in a detective logic mystery game, are "ghost magic"

i was a little down that when you find the robot in the attic you don't get a choice in saying whether he is there or not but i imagine that will come around.

although i like the ECHL footage the dad is watching

I didn't even notice that you couldn't cover for attic-bot and say there was nothing there. I thought you could. There are other instances in the game where you can cover poop up at least.

The dad stuff really is pathetic. Way too predictable. The good news is imo nothing else comes close to being as bad the rest of the way.

well that's good. i just feel like the other scenes have done well at not being obvious yet i know how the next one or two plays out with Cara

I don't want to watch poopty dad yell at his kid. its the worst

There's a scene much later in the game that helps explain the dad stuff a bit and adds a tiny bit of depth but because of how my game played out I didn't even get to see it lol. I read about it though.
