it looks like a more action oriented take on that style of combat. lol i love that you can web someone and then swing them around in a circle tripping everyone. never knew spiderman was a murderer

Some of the take downs are violent but its TV/Movie style violence where unless its explicitly stated that someone is killed then just assume they aren't.

Earlier in development you could kick and throw and pull guys off the side of the building. And then people were like "wait so those guys falling 57 stories obviously die right?"

So now they added a thing where when you knock someone off a building a little web bomb explodes at some point and cocoons them up on the side of the building.

The villain lineup seems fun.

Sinister Six is good lineup for a game. Electro, Rhyno, Scorpion, Vulture and Mr Negative. Some mystery #6.

Silver Sable is in it too. Which means maybe Black Cat. Shocker, Kingpin, Taskmaster, and probably others.

Yeah they realized that they have to add that.

I'm not worried about the specifics of it, just glad they added it.

I think it'll be a neat game. 23 year old Spiderman is a good sweet spot for the game as it means he's got enough history as spiderman that everything isn't an origin but he's still young enough to be a dumbass.

That was some of my favourite stuff with the Batman games but with the acrobatics of Spiderman and the landscape of NY you can get into some bananas

the traversal looks so damn good. nyc isn't perfectly accurate or anything (it doesn't try to be) but the city looks amazing too

yeah you could deliver pizzas in spiderman 2. there'd be window cleaners like 50 floors up that you had to give pizza to and everything, it made no sense and it was awesome.

its kind of like when Tony Hawk would make a city as a level. They'd get all the big stuff pretty accurate and the general designof the city but they'd compact it for obvious reasons.

They admitted that had to increase the height of a lot of buildings. add extra water towers and stuff. make the trees taller so they could be swing points.
