Shadow of Mordor looks interesting but I need to stop just buying games and play 3% of it. Haven't been hooked on anything yet since I got the PS4. I guess it's a good thing, but I miss being hooked on a game. Yes I am weird.

i got burned out with mordor less than 10 hours in i think. very very repetitive and shallow combat. like batman with even less variety and non of the cool batman stuff. the nemesis stuff was just a complete gimmick that added no real depth to the game.

i will never give it a 2nd chance and the 2nd game and all future games in the series are dead to me

it's a good series but it's relatively simple, that's why i like it probably. the paradox games strategy games (europa and stuff) take like 15 years to learn because they are so complex.

civilization has the perfect balance of complexity and ease of use but it's purely turn based. your life will be ruined if you get into it. i hope you buy it soon.

i haven't played 6 yet. i played the poop out of 3, 4, and 5 though. ever play play it multiplayer? used to do that with my friend but he took 10x longer per turn which made an already insanely long game way too long lol. pretty sure it took a couple weeks to finish a single game.

Oh boy. I remember playing a lot of Defender of the Crown on Commodore 64 an NES. So I guess 73 years ago. Never tried any of Sims/Civilization etc. thinking I have the pre-disposition of ruining my life into these. But I'm an adult now so I guess I can give it a try.

you can almost go full sim city with anno and avoid combat which can make it "easy"

i'm still playing The Show 16 because I'm in year 11 of my Road To The Show. I've basically won the silver slugger, gold glove and MVP every season.

South Park games are great.

Spiderman is the best Spider-Man media to... probably like ever come out.

i have trophies for the show 15 but i don't remember owning the game at all so it's really weird. no disc anywhere and no game in my digital library either.

i can see that. it is repetitive but i enjoy what i'm doing. its not as good as spiderman, but what is besides more Spiderman?

i'm really digging PC controls for it.

mind if i spoil and just gabber about some of the neat stuff they've done in shadow of war?
