i have been playing civ for a long time, and the same basic strategy works. it seems like this game adapts. flanking maneuvers are increasingly difficult to pull off. and the computer is relentless in its attacks.

this was my first play through, it takes a couple to develop the proper path through the tech tree but still, this is the first time in a long time that a game like this has handed me my lunch. enjoyable.
