Truthfully it's typically some of the best hockey played all year sans the SCP but the lack of crowd participation and ice size has diminished a lot of the intensity it has when played in North America.

Not a fan of the bigger ice personally. Some say it adds offense overall. I find it opens up the stretch floater pass but generally it diminishes the offense created off a tenacious forechecking, takes a lot of physical play out of the game because players have way to much time to make long, slow drawn out plays. I like bang bang fast paced styles personally.

It's more like soccer where they work more to set up a play than just trying to bash it with a hammer to get a goal. A lot more perimeter type plays waiting for that inside chance rather than just using your big man Richard and balls to (frank) the other teams slot until you get your way

i saw germany's first 3 games (which was just a coincidence). they were thrown to the wolves as it was can, USA, and russia - but man did they ever just roll over and not even try to hide it.

i saw 5 minutes of effort out of the germans in all 3 games combined.
