Who was the most unlikely team to to survive the first round of play? Carolina? I sure thought the Rangers were gonna win that series. I bet on Columbus to advance in the Leafs series. Like many on this site and other hockey sites. I realized how gritty the Jackets are. And the obvious defensive deficiencies of the Leafs. (Man the Leafs have a lot of blue line roster work to do) Hopefully The Yotes get some offense and Leafs work on balance and defense. Lazy blog Tanner. I know your a busy guy. Tanner do you watch the NHL channel or do you not watch tv?

I know, his blogs are getting lazier everyday. Imagine getting paid to watch a hockey team and write what you see and think? Tanner can't even watch the games.He's too arrogant! Tanner would be the first to call someone out for this. It's sad.

MacKinnon vs Kuemper is worth the price of admission. And if Grubaeur falters, Francouz's numbers were right there with Kuemper. Best match of round one IMO.(am I allowed the mention hockey in this comments section?)

Crystal Meth is very bad

I stopped reading Tanner's blogs a while ago because many of his articles are politically charged, but I figured I'd try back again because the first round of the playoffs are starting. I can see that his material has only gotten worse and now is completely unreadable. Tanner is by far the worst sports writer I have ever come across and I hope one day you start taking your job seriously because the product you produce is garbage. If you don't know how to do a proper hockey write-up look to Todd's work to see how a real sports writer should run their blog.

Agreed, Korpisalo will probably never have another game close to the 2 games where he shut out he Leafs, it was 100% luck. Imagine if he had to make 50+ saves against a team like Tampa Bay, he'd get absolutely lit up.
