Henry, no deal. DJ is a 20 year-old kid, more or less. His time is coming, IMO after the trade deadline when several D-man are traded. Olivier is playing great, raise the price before you trade him, or have him sign a new CBJ contract. Players like him are still needed
I saw a little bit of the game last night, the first one in a long time. It's not a perfect win, with as many scoring and high danger chances the CBJ had they should have scored 10 goals, and the back end is still very shaky, but doing better making offense and a little better defending. There is hope for this team, and if the trend line keeps going up this could be a great season.
This team has been treated like it's an AHL team playing up a league, especially from the press outside Columbus. If they can keep their heads above water before and after the December trip to Western Canada things will be interesting in Columbus.
