I’m curious most people speculating the sabres lineup have cozens starting on the 3rd line. What’s your reasoning for dropping olofsson there over him or anyone else? |

Cozens is most likely 2nd line RW.
Our RW depth without him is ..... ahhh not good.
Without cozens
Reinhart
Okposo
Tage Thompson
That’s why the Sabres will also give Quinn a shot. |

For me it starts with Cozens. If he's ready to make the jump, I'm of the belief he'll be in a great situation playing wing next to Staal. Not only will the wing alieveiate some rookie pressure, but Cozens will be able to learn the NHL game from a true, veteran professional like Staal.
As for Olofsson having him on the third line adds more scoring depth to the top nine and he'll more than likely still be on the top PP unit. |

In most of the lineups I’ve seen olofsson was moved to the right wing otherwise I would agree. |

Thanks, cozens does have a great opportunity to showcase himself at the world Juniors and already having the rust knocked off already he may have a leg up on his competition in training camp.
My thought was that no matter the line they were on part of staal’s job was going going to be to mentor cozens but if cozens proves himself good enough I suppose it would be best to put them together.
Lastly on olofsson, I wasn’t sure if the sabres would be too keen on splitting up him and eichel (whether that means moving him to the right side of Jack and hall). |

Yeah. A lot of possibilities this year heading into camp. And you're right, playing at the WJC in a premium role, is gonna give him a big head start. |

I would rather have Thompson or Ruotsalainen on the roster than Okposo, personally |

I think skinner gets a shot at rw on top line, as he has said he is comfortable playing rw

Felt really weird driving down the QEW to Niagara and not going over the border to catch a Sabres game.
Good luck today gentleman.
Hope my Broncos keep it close but would not mind at all if the Bills capture the AFC Championship today at my expense.
I’d expect the Broncos to try to establish the run early and often to set up the play action game that Lock seems to do well with.
If the Bills defence forces the Broncos into long down and distances situations it will be a long day for the Broncos and the game could be over at half time.
Broncos are depleted in the secondary so it could mean another big passing day for the Bills offence. The Broncos do a great job of clamping it down in the red zone though but I’d have a prop bet on an Allen rushing TD today as they seem to be vulnerable on the ground in the red zone.
Ciao for now and enjoy the game Bills Mafia. |

This team should focus on upside, not placating veterans. Yes Okposo has a higher floor than Thompson and Ruotsalainen, but he has a much lower ceiling. Hopefully he'll be on a short leash. He needs to produce, and not just defensively |
