I think there is potential there, looking at him over his NHL time.
23 points in 39 games - 0.59 Points per game
17 points in 54 games - 0.31 Points per game
32 points in 53 games - 0.60 Points per game
28 points in 46 games - 0.61 Points per game
31 points in 78 games - 0.40 Points per game
He has a 0.49 points per game in his total career, 3 seasons around 0.6 points per game and 2 where he struggled. I think part of it was less opportunity last year in Vancouver with them having more depth, his ice time was down.
If healthy and depending on opportunity in Chicago, he could have another ~0.6 points per game season, like he did 3 out of his 5 seasons. He could reasonably land in that 40+ points range with maybe 49-50 as the ceiling.

So that may bring the expectation of wins done a bit (sniffing for a top pick agains as our odds increase due to menicscuis tear on a golaie.
All I know is after two on one kneww I still feel the area, so he may have to play through pain, or Soder pop brings a better lunch pail and they waive Lauren.

5-7 weeks from date of surgery according to NBC - so maybe potentially miss a couple of weeks at the start of the season and no training camp, possibly not miss any of the season at all.
Basically there is nothing going on, that at least was something. Potentially has no impact at all. |

There's no guarantee Mrazek has as good a year next year as last year or stays as healthy. |

I'm really hoping the new diet and stretching/ exercise plan they have him on is the answer, I'm guessing that Murphy, AA should be on that same plan. |

It'll be interesting if Nazar makes the big club, he loves to set players up and I could see Ilya being a good linemate with Frankie.

Thankfully, it is a meniscus surgery rather than a ligament or tendon. I have had my meniscus cleaned out both before and after a knee reconstruction, and whilst I am not a professional athlete by any means, it was a fairly simple recovery for me.
One would also assume with the level of support and care around a professional sporting team, Broissoit will be well looked after and managed effectively. |

I can see KD one of the still unsigned UFA goalies (Jones, Raanta, Rittich) to either a PTO or minimum salary contract for depth |

Have to believe he skates only in a legends or the greatest timer stars now retired
Even then he has to be careful and monitor his amount of time and effort |

Maybe he turned into the Johnny Unitas character from Point Break? |

Ek writing that Donato could be traded soon. I know, I know. Accoring to Ek, Donato's 2M is affordable and he is a good depth player. Dallas and Boston supposedly kicking the tires. But if Swayman signs for 8M+, Boston is up against the cap. The return probably won't be much, but unless a player comes back in the trade, his departure could open a spot for Nazar or Slaggert? |

Vancouver may do that also due to Demko's injury.

Or maybe the Blackhawks just bring Soda up until Bro is ready to assume back up duty.
Probably don't have to many back to backs to start the season.
He'll probably be back by their first back to back game October 11-12th |

If there is any truth to this rumor I'm guessing they feel one of the kids is ready to play in the NHL. |

I'm with you, Brossoit's injury doesn't sound long term so likely they don't need to do anything major. |

Soderblom can fill the void for a few games.
Interesting fact though, if capwages.com is correct, Soderblom will not be waiver exempt if he play 10 more NHL games. I doubt anyone would claim Soda, not even Vancouver, but if he turns his game around this season it could be factor later on (if one of the Hawks goalies gets hurt).

Mikyahev, if healthy, is one of the fastest guys in the league. I'm hoping that everyone is playing well, particularly Lucas Reichel, that at some point we see what
"Mikey" - AA - Reichel can do together as a line. That is literally, three of the fastest guys in the league. Speed at ALL three forward positions. |

If it is only for 3-4 games, I wonder if they would give Commesso a chance to get a small look at the NHL.
